Peace
Thank you to all who are praying for us. I (Angela) feel total peace about not going to China for a while. I can't explain it but this weekend the Lord showed me some things and I'm ok with the extended wait. If we were to go right now we would be stuck in a hotel room being quarantined. That doesn't sound like fun. We want to explore and see China when we go. We would like to allow it to be an adventure. Brian's dad taped "China week" from the Travel Channel for us a while back and watching it has made us want to experience some of the really cool things that we could be able to see in the cities in which we are visiting. Amelia is safe right now. Hopefully today we will be receiving our video of her that our agency taped for us. We can't wait! We will get her soon but for now we wait. God's timing is perfect. I'm sure there is a reason that we wait.

I was just thinking of you and decided to see if there was an update - I am so glad to hear you are feeling the peace of his embrace and resting in that for now. Know I continue to pray for you, your family and Amelia and am so anxious to follow along on those adventures soon!

ReplyDeleteI know you are taking a break from email...just wanted to let you know our travel plans were unfortunately put on hold. Our provincial appt will not be honored at this time:-(.
As you know well, this is hard, but trying to rest in Him and His timing.
Sophie knew we were coming soon....I just pray that God bestows a sense of peace and understanding on her heart as she handles this delay.

ReplyDeleteThe waiting is the hardest part of the journey. It is for sure a time when prayer is on of the few things that can carry you through. I pray that you will continue to feel peace as you wait.
