We received our LOA!!!! In adoption terminology this stands for letter of acceptance. We have been waiting for this piece for 96 days 15 hours and 36 minutes. ha! But no one was really counting, huh!?
Actually, we will get it in the morning via Fed-ex and sign and return next day air. Our agency called us to tell us today.
One more approval before travel. It is called TA or travel approval. Our agency projects us traveling in 8-10 weeks. YEAH!!!

Our referral!
We received a call on January 21, 2009 for this adorable little girl located in Xinjiang, China. She is 3 years and 5 months old. She is in Urumqi City. We are told we may travel in 3-6 months to get her. We will travel to the far Northwest this time. (see map below) We will be near the Gobi desert. The weather is HOT in the summer!
Rejoice in the Lord always and I say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4
We chose the verse from Philippians as we like the rest of the chapter talking about anxiety. We tend to get anxious when we travel abroad. :0
We began our journey on January 1, 2008. At the end of 2007 my husband came home from work one day telling me he felt God was calling us to adopt again and that I should pray about it. (My original answer was no.) After much prayer I felt called to be God's hands and feet all of my days and if it was His will for my life then I would be obedient. On October 10, 2008 we submitted our dossier (paperwork) to China. On October 17, 2008 it was logged in to their system. At the end of November we signed up on the SN list. We received a call on January 21, 2009 for our sweet Amelia Claire. God knew what he was doing as we are all ecstatic! (Doesn't he always though?)
